Premier Division

Ducklington

They have started this season as they finished last year - winning their games. They have a 100% record in the league including a defeat of the highly rated Hailey. They have also defeated another Premier Division side in the Fred Ford Cup.

Division One

Bampton Town

This team are used to making perfect starts having blazed a trail in Division Three, and Two over the last two years. They seem to be doing the same again with 3 league wins from 3, Scoring 16 and conceding none! Beating Premier side West Witney 2-0 in the cup is also noteworthy. Local celebrity Steve Godfrey has been in excellent form with 6 goals so far.

Division Two

Spartan Rangers Reserves

A tough call between the top two. Spartan Rangers Reserves are top having picked up 10 points from 12 racking up an impressive tally of goals and have the divisions leading scorer in Craig Halkett. Brize Norton Reserves were relegated last season but have bounced back well winning all of their 3 games comfortably. Due to the fact they have played stronger sides at the start we will give the award to Spartan Rangers Reserves.

Division Three

Bampton Town Reserves

The reserve side make it a double for the village club including a perfect start for both sides. They have won 4 from 4, scoring 23 and conceding only 1 in the process. It appears that teams will find it hard to score past either Bampton side this season and visitors will do well to take points from the Buckland Road based team.
