Season Preview: Division Three
[ Premier League ] [ Division One ] [ Division Two ] [ Division Three ] [ Division Four ]
Aston Reserves
Having lost several players over the summer, and recruited only a select few, they will need to avoid any injuries if they wish to present a full strength squad this season. The same core of players that saw them push for promotion for the best part of last season should keep them in the top echelon this time around.
Prediction: Champions
One to watch: Tom Madden
Ducklington A
A lot has been happening behind the scenes at Ducklington this summer and they will need to present a united front if they want to gain promotion this year. Joint Managers Gareth Sparrowhawk and Scott Newcombe have brought together a vast amount of experience mixed with a good set of youngsters should see them there or thereabouts at the end of the season.
Prediction: 5th

FC Chequers
Having had promotion taken from them in the last 45 minutes of the season will have been a very bitter pill to swallow for Chequers, but a young and talented squad, new signings, determined manager and hard work and will make them an indomitable force this year. A good depth of squad should help then ride the wave of injuries that dogged their season last year.
Prediction: Runners-up
One to watch: Paul Read
FC Mills Reserves
Having had the basis of a good side for the last several years, Mills will need to find the one or two missing pieces to give them the extra edge and lift them from their perennial mid table sofa that they've recently become so comfortable in. Having lost arguably the best keeper in the league through retirement over the summer, Mills need to rely on hard work and team work to get them the results this year.
Prediction: 8th
One to watch: Warren Senior
FC Nomads Reserves
How Nomads react to relegation will be the key to heir success this year. With the mentor of Paul Bircher behind them at the club, you can guarantee the right attitude will be instilled in the players. However, do they have the necessary steel in the side to pull out the results against other more settled sides?
Prediction: Bottom (Relegated)
One to watch: TBA
Fieldtown
The 'outsiders' have again been through unsettling times. Having little contact with the 'real world' of the Witney & District leaves their squad size and shape a mystery, which may prove an advantage this time around. Never accused of playing anything less than a committed physical game, Fieldtown will be the acid test for most teams this season.
Prediction: 9th
One to watch: Olly Whitehall
Kingham AB Reserves
A skilful and gifted team who suffered from a lack of momentum towards the end of last season. If missing out on promotion can inspire this side to reproduce last years early season form then expect them to be right up there come April.
Prediction: 4th
One to watch: Gareth Tyack
Minster Lovell Reserves
Another side which owes its relegation last season to losing key players. Some new and old faces have rejoined the club and reports indicate that Minster may be the side to beat this season. An exciting bunch of young players will set the division alight if they are able to vent their enthusiasm and energy in the right direction.
Prediction: 6th
One to watch: Some dude with blonde hair like Spike from Gremlins
Spartan Rangers A
Again, another side which will only benefit from the large pool of players at the club. With 'Helmet' at the helm, Spartan A should produce nothing less than 'All or nothing' performances this season. Finishing mid-table last season didn't reflect the workman like effort they produced last season.
Prediction: 10th (Relegated)
One to watch: TBA
Two Rivers
Great things have been both seen and said about Two Rivers this season. With new manager Martin Prew at the helm, and undoubtedly an influx of new players including Ian and Tom Radburn from North Leigh will have strengthened their side and you can be sure that it will be a very different Two Rivers you see this year. Great performances in both friendlies and cup competitions over the summer is a boon second only to retaining the services of experienced striker Phil Mills.
Prediction: 3rd
One to watch: Krzysztof Olszouy
Wychwood Forest
Wychwood Forest will not be happy having been 'relegated' in the leagues restructure. Some of their performances last year certainly weren't that of relegation candidates. Wychwood, perhaps the most qualified team for promotion this year will need consistent performances from both young and old if they are to bounce straight back up.
Prediction: 7th
