Season Preview: Division Four
[ Premier League ] [ Division One ] [ Division Two ] [ Division Three ] [ Division Four ]
Brize Norton A
Being the third side from their club, recruiting players and surviving the pre-season player merry-go-round was a priority. It's now safe to say Brize A will be very much there come the start of the season and with a large pool of players, should at least be able to give the majority of sides in the Division a good run for their money.
Prediction: 7th

Chad Park
By all accounts, Chad Park will be the team to beat this season. If you believe all the hype, they have signed players from Hellenic, Senior and Premier League teams. In fact rumour has it that Teddy Sheringham would be making an appearance for them this year.
Prediction: Champions

Chippy Swifts Reserves
One of an influx of new sides in Division Four this year and being from the outer reaches of Oxfordshire, little is known about the make-up of this team. They will doubtless have a core of young talented players, some of which played for the first team last season.
Prediction: Runners-up

Eynsham Sports
Eynsham Sports were formed by John Ayres and are basically a team of friends from Eynsham, playing in Burford. Standing alone from the current Eynsham side, they'll be playing a very different style of game. What they lack in experience they make up for in enthusiasm. But will it be enough to carry them through the season. They will need to remain disciplined and organised if they want to avoid the dreaded 'drop'.
Prediction: Bottom
One to watch: TBA
FC Chequers Reserves
This has been a very busy summer for FC Chequers as a club, not least with forming a reserve side. Chairman and first team manager Simon 'Sub' Moore has been very busy off the field in the name of FC Chequers and with the introduction of the reserve side decided to appoint unsettled FC Mills misfit Anthony Barlow as Manager. Several new 'key' signings should complement the existing squad and their pre-season performances to date indicate Chequers will be looking for a top 5 finish.
Prediction: 3rd

Freeland A
The managerial partnership of Paul Mills and Matt Hardy will be steering Freeland's third ship through the unsettled waters of Division 4 this season. Benefiting from the new players in the first team, Freeland A won't be looking to just survive this year. As a well organised club Freeland would like to see a top half finish for their A-side but do not expect this season to be a walk in the park.
Prediction: 4th
One to watch: Paul Mills - if you want a bit of a laugh
Hailey Reserves
Hailey have had to adjust to losing several players over the summer but now seem to be pulling things together, just in time for the start of the season. Reserve team manager Les Quick and his assistant is Darren King will be expecting to more than hold their own in the newly formed Division and jump straight back into Division 3 at the first attempt. A few new signings have been made and will now be donning the green and white hoops for the forthcoming season.
Prediction: 6th

Milton Reserves
If sources are to be believed, Milton Reserves have struggled over the summer to maintain a settled squad. Losing a few key players won't have helped their situation and to begin with at least they will be looking to maintain a consistent side.
Prediction: 9th
One to watch: TBA
Southrop Reserves
Another side benefiting from the success of their first team last year. Southrop Reserves' inaugural season in the W&D will be an exciting one. As will team selection as Chairman and all round fruitcake Mark 'Mr Southrop' Wilson has been ultra busy in the transfer market over the summer. However, this doesn't allay concerns that they may struggle to field a full strength side each week. Aidy Kew should be the jewel in the slightly rusty crown, with the chairman predicting him to be Simon Williams Mk II.
Prediction: 10th
One to watch: Aidy Kew
Witney Royals Reserves
Always modest in their approach to football, Witney Royals play the game for the games sake. A very commendable attitude, however despite their double cup success last year, Royals Reserves perhaps paid the price for their nonchalant approach, finishing bottom. This season expect a different Royals side. The young guns are a year older and the old heads are a year wiser. After many conversations with the soon to be mentioned fellows, one or a combination of Kearse Simpson, Loyd Edwards and Colin Morris will be managing the side this year. Each telling me the other will be in charge come the beginning of the season. Utter confusion or a managerial smokescreen for what is to be a good season for the Royals? Time will tell...
Prediction: 5th

Wychwood Forest Reserves
Hopeful of a better season than last year, manager Malcolm Jones has indicated that his side will be giving everything each week. Several new players have been brought in, including Lee Manley and Chris Jones from Spartan. A more settled side is what is needed this year and they will look to continue what was an improvement in form they showed at the end of the season. A mid table finish would an acceptable finish for Wychwood.
Prediction: 8th
