Premier League

Brize Norton

The Premier Division award was a straight fight between Hailey and Brize Norton.

There was little to choose between the two sides. Hailey did not play a league game, but had victories  in the Junior Shield, Fred Ford Cup and Oxon Charity Cup.

Brize Norton also had 2 cup victories in the Junior Shield and the Fred Ford as well as recording 2 league victories.

In the end, the www.witneyfootball.com committee decide to give the award to Brize as it was felt their cup opponents were probably of a slighter higher calibre.

Division One

Witney Wanderers

Another tough choice in Division 1 with 3 teams again in contention, Minster Lovell, Brize Norton Reserves & Witney Wanderers.

Minster Lovell continue to lead the way at the top of the table and look certainties for promotion after adding another 3 league wins to go with a victory in the Oxon Junior Shield.

Brize Norton Reserves continue to climb the table and they had 2 league victories and a win in the Jack Busby Cup.

After a sluggish start Witney Wanderers are now starting to find their true form and recorded an excellent league win over Witney Royals and also progressed in the Oxon Junior Shield and Fred Ford Cup and are this months winners.

Division Two

Southrop

Five teams went through the month undefeated in the league and three - Southrop, Bampton Town Reserves and Combe had 100% league records.

Bampton Town Reserves have maintained their excellent start to the season, winning both their league games and progressing to the next round of the Jack Busby Trophy.

Combe won their only league game and knocked a Premier Division side out of the Fred Ford Cup, but suffered a defeat in the Oxon Junior Shield.

Southrop had a poor start to the season losing 4 of their first 5 games, but they have hit back winning all 4 league games in November and scoring 22 goals on the way with Simon Williams bagging 12 of them and they are the Division Two winners.

Division Three

Wychwood Forest

Again three teams were in contention for the Division Three award - Two Rivers, FC Mills Reserves and Wychwood Forest.

Two Rivers, were the victors in the division's "Game of the month" against FC Chequers, but suffered defeat at the hands of FC Mills Reserves.

FC Mills Reserves record was spoilt by a defeat in the Jack Busby Cup.

So the winners are Wychwood Forest. They won both of their league games including an 8-0 away victory and they also knocked out a Division Two side in the Oxon Junior Shield.

Division Four

Witney Royals Reserves

Three clubs all had a 100% league record in November - Chad Park,  Hailey Reserves & Witney Royals Reserves.

Of these sides, Chad Park, suffered a narrow defeat in the Junior Shield,  whilst Witney Royals Res, were just beaten by a division 2 side in the Jack Busby Cup.

This months vote goes to Witney Royals Reserves who have been impressive goalscoring form scoring 16 times, with Kearse Simpson leading the way in fine style scoring 7 times.

Giles Sports / Adidas Team of the Month

The decision for the overall winner was a tough one this month but in the end the committee were unanimous in their decision to award the Team of the Month to Brize Norton.
